GCT GDM7243 / GDM7243A is the most 2.5 GHz-native silicon in the ecosystem — WiMAX heritage on this exact spectrum, then a hostless LTE SoC (RF + baseband + dual A7, no host CPU). The Cat 12 GDM7243A crosses the two-carrier line, so a GCT-powered ODU aggregates both AirHarmony carriers today and lands FWA 100 on ~$35–75 module cost. Already shipping inside the Global Telecom Titan 4000 (GLODU7243AB41) and — via GCM4701NA — in Ligado's Band 54 utility private networks. Direct ask to GCT: the B41 analog reference module for AIN.
Qualcomm X62 / X72 (RM520N, FX3100, FX4100/FX4200) is reserved for what GCT cannot yet deliver: HPUE PC2 uplink and n41 SA survival across the mMIMO upgrade. Buy GCT for volume on the as-built LTE plant; buy Qualcomm anywhere the install must outlive the LTE era. Because AIN is a private PLMN, the only legally required device certification is an FCC equipment authorization grant covering 2496–2690 MHz transmit. PTCRB is a free de-risking signal, not a gate — non-PTCRB WISP CPE that passes the operator IOT matrix is fully deployable, which is where the most cost-effective B41 hardware lives. HPUE PC2 can be network-signaled and guaranteed enabled since AIN controls its own eNB configuration.
